Steve Burton Steps Up For A Good Cause

good for the soul. Mona Vie, the Acai fruit health drink promoted by
several members of the General Hospital cast, has gone philanthropic with
MonaVie Operations Rescue a.k.a. THE MORE PROJECT. "The do a lot of
things, but basically, they give kids in Brazil hope and a future, which
means giving them food, clothing, shelter, medical supplies and an
education." says proponent, Steve Burton. "Because they fully support
these kids, we thought we could come up with an idea to raise more money
for the MORE project." And thus, an idea was born! MORE to Love: When Burton became a part of the MonaVie organization, he was very interested in helping the people of Brazil and becoming an active part of the MORE Project. During a series of brainstorming sessions to create MonaVie Couture, a clothing line whose proceeds will be donated to charity, the hook of "Live MORE, Love MORE, and Give MORE" was originated. "The goal is to bring global awareness to charities in need, priority No. 1 being the MORE Project. Wear The Heart Is "We came up with the idea to do a hoodie with the MonaVie logo and a dove, symbolizing peace," says Burton. "My partner cut a deal with the American Music Awards that he got the hoodies in every celebrity dressing room and in the gift room. Pretty cool. All the money, 100 percent, is going to the MORE Project. MonaVie does a lot of great things. They save the rain forests, support kids. One of the biggest things for them as a company is giving back and they're doing that. You can purchase the AMA hoodies at Mona Vie Mall.
