| After months of having
played a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Sonny and Jason, Alcazar
finally learns the secret behind their success when this week, the pair
rub out the competition. But the truth about Alcazar's untimely
demise would be the beginning of the end for Jason! Skye Betrays Her Man As the week begins, Skye continues cozying up to Alcazar in an attempt to keep her daughter safe. But what Lila Rae's dad doesn't know could do a whole lot more than hurt him: Skye is in cahoots with Sonny. "There's no turning back for Skye" says her portrayer Robin Christopher. "It's a nightmare that keeps escalating. When Alcazar took Lila Rae, that just put the final nail in the coffin," she says laughing at the irony of her words. Dial "M" for Murder Sliding between the sheets with Alcazar, Skye does what she has to do -- in this case, make love to a man she now loathes -- in order to get her daughter home. Once Lila Rae is back in her mom's arms, Skye picks up a phone and tells Sonny their plan is a go. He, in turn, calls Jason with a very specific order: Kill Alcazar! Once Jason has carried out Sonny's order, he calls to say the job is done...and Spinelli overhears! At the same time, Ric swings by to see Alcazar and, after asking Skye a few pertinent questions, begins to suspect that Lorenzo, like brother Luis before him, may have met with foul play. Ric Closes In On The Truth In the wake of Alcazar's death, a nervous Skye tells Jason that Ric is asking a lot of questions. She also asks Edward to forgive the sins of her past but does not get the absolution she'd hoped for. Paying his brother a visit, Ric makes it clear that Sonny tops his suspect list. Ric, then visits Skye and suggests that she file a missing person report! ASAP so that the investigation doesn't wind up focusing on her. While clearing out Alcazar's belongings, Skye insists to Ric that she has no clue where her lover might be. But by doing a little poking around, Ric is able to uncover evidence that connects Jason to Alcazar's disappearance: a digital recording on which Alcazar say "Morgan" before there is the sound of a gun shot. A Shocking Twist As they attempt to cover their tracks, Jason makes a decision that doesn't sit well with Sonny. Meanwhile, Ric plays dirty in order to hit Sonny where he lives. At the most inconvenient moment, Ric makes a stunning move, with Lucky's help, which could change everything for not only Jason, But Elizabeth and their newborn child as well! SID - 6/5/07 |
