As PC's chief mobster, Jason knew better than to let himself get romantically involved. However, Liz's beaty and emotional support -- not to mention the fact that she has his kid -- made her a temptation that was too tough to ignore. Natch, when their baby got kidnapped and nearly killed, the lovers agreed that they could never be together again.

Baggage:

Considering the brain damage that left him emotionally stunted, it's a miracle that Jason can even love at all. Nevertheless, Robin, Courtney, Sam, and Liz were able to reach his "stone cold" heart and irrevocably melt it. Having had a taste of those feelings in the past, now it's difficult for Jason to deny himself.

Room Service:

Jason needs a woman for whom his dangerous lifestyle isn't a problem. Unfortunately, as long as Liz has kids to look out for, she can't afford that risk. However, feisty Sam, who enjoys life on the edge so much she became a private eye, is indeed a better match. And, she's available.

Now that he's returned control of the organization to Sonny, Jason can take a deep breath and reprioritize. He deserves to have a personal life, and, darn it, he needs to stop depriving the local gals of that awesome bod!
